Central Park

No, we are not talking about the entire park because it has uneven ground, hills, and obstacles that can make it difficult to run.

What we’re referring to is the beautiful flat surface that showcases majestic reservoir views on the track. We are talking about Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir.

It starts at 85th street and goes all the way to 96th street. In total, it’s a 1.98 mile with a flat surface that can serve as an excellent running trail. You can perform various laps in multiple loops too. Moreover, you won’t find any cyclists on this track too.

Hudson River Pedestrian Path

You must have seen countless fitness enthusiasts on the Hudson River. Some go there to exercise while some love to try the pedestrian path for running. It’s a long path that will show you amazing views on the way including recreational sports, kayaks, boarding, etc.

If running is silence is your jam then Roosevelt Island is what you need to turn to. It is located between Queens and Manhattan and offers a 3.6-mile track. The best part? There’s no noise pollution, signals, or vehicles to trouble you. You can put on your headphones and keep running for as long as you can.
